Margie Summers is widely known in The Writers Café for her creative development of The Writers Café Online Photo Album web site, a collection of images that portray the various denizens and habitués who populate the Café. The Photo Album was created so that the regulars in the chat room could get a visual idea of just who they're chatting with. I've had several photos of myself, in various ages and states of undress, posted at the site.

She's also widely held responsible for the famous Café-related contests that spring forth from her head, fully formed and ready to teach her the ultimate lesson in life, "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished." Given the egos and temperaments of writers and editors, this is an ongoing battle with which Margie copes in a miraculous fashion.

Having been made privy to her works-in-progress for the paying customers, I am continually dazzled by her graphic presentational skills and the speed with which her ideas are spun into web sites.

She also takes in stray squirrels, speaks their language, and in her spare time, frequents many of the fine shoppes and emporia of St. Charles, a suburb of St. Louis, where many of the area's small residential enclaves are named for saints, of which Margie is one.

This was not a paid political announcement.
