The Reunion has been planned so that it won't be necessary to rent a car unless you really want to, or unless you're staying somewhere other than a hotel or B&B on Main Street. If you're planning to fly, the airport nearest St. Charles is Lambert St. Louis International (about 10 minutes away). The Country Inn and Suites on Main Street (our chosen hotel) will have an airport shuttle or van service up and running by this May -- in plenty of time for the Reunion. I don't know the price of a shuttle ride yet, but I'll post it as soon as I do. The hotel also has an arrangement with Yellow Cab Company and offers cab service to and from the airport for $14 each way.

For those of you who come by bus, you'll want to get off at the Greyhound station at Lambert Airport. To get to St. Charles, you can take the hotel shuttle (if you're staying at The Country Inn and Suites) or a cab (if you're staying elsewhere).

If you drive, you'll be coming into St. Charles on I-70. To get to The Country Inn and Suites on Main Street from 70, take the Fifth Street Exit north to Boone's Lick Road. Turn right on Boone's Lick and continue to Main Street. (You'll know you're on Main Street when you have brick paving under your tires.) Turn right and continue on Main to the hotel. It'll be on the left.

ERICWRITES will be arriving in his van, and has graciously offered to drive Reunion attendees to and from the airport if anyone needs a ride. A couple of our other local Cafers will also be available to provide airport transportation. As the Reunion weekend draws nearer, we will coordinate with you about arrival and departure times to make sure you get a ride if you need one.
