Keep these dates available! We'll pack in all the sights and sounds Chicago has to offer in these whirlwind three days.

From the 300+ invitations sent out to our "Loungers," you have voted Chicago as the destination for our Authors' Lounge Gathering this year.

We've all spent plenty of time in our little chat room, discussing writing/agents/PODs, arguing the latest political snafu, worrying about fellow loungers weathering out hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes while, at the same time, sharing plans for our upcoming weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and births. Almost all of us have formed close friendships with people we've never even met!

In many ways, we're like a family or the corner bar or group therapy, I haven't quite put my finger on that one yet, but what we have is special. Now, we have an opportunity to put faces with the personalities of the people who have made us lmao, lol, click and hiss, and we're going to have a ball!
