The Coaching Process
Minimal Time Investment; Great Returns

Every great athlete has a great coach. Coaching for career success and executive development is similar to athletic coaching in many key ways; the goal is to develop your talents to their fullest potential.

With our assistance, you will set the coaching agenda and determine the focus of coaching. Commonly, coaching agendas include one or more of the following focus areas:

  • Leadership and Executive Development
  • Focus and Consistent Performance
  • Developing Emotional Intelligence
  • Improving Communication Skills
  • Work / Life Balance Strategies
  • Developing a Career Vision
  • Stress Reduction Techniques
  • Efficient Time Management

The Coaching Process

The first step in the coaching process is to identify your particular strengths and areas for further development. This process is accomplished through detailed interviews, personality assessments, 360 feedback surveys, and/or career interest inventories.

Based on the information obtained during the assessment phase, we work with you to create concrete goals that are based on your development needs, interests, values, and aspirations.

Next, we collaborate with you to develop an Action Plan that outlines the specific steps and actions required to achieve your goals. Your Action Plan also identifies in advance potential pitfalls and roadblocks to your success and develops steps to avoid them.

The final phase of coaching involves monitoring and evaluation of your progress. Based on your progress, we may adjust goals and/or action plans as needed to ensure your success.

Minimal Time Investment; Great Returns

A typical coaching schedule includes 2 to 4 sessions per month, with each session ranging from 15 to 60 minutes depending on what is set up in advance. Questions and additional communications between sessions are common and often can be sent via e-mail. This allows you to have easy and efficient access to your coach to maximize the effectiveness of coaching.

To meet the varied needs of our clients, coaching services can be provided either in-person or over the telephone. Additionally, many of our assessments can be completed through our on-line assessment center and we can be reached through e-mail to answer questions or follow-up on progress.

We strive to keep pace with technological advances to keep providing you with the most efficient and effective coaching services available.
